Which assets can I use on my phone?
The iPhone and Android apps support Zano, Monero, Zcash, Bitcoin, Ethereum and fUSD, along with ERC-20 tokens including USDT and USDC. Desktop covers the same assets except Zcash, and adds private payroll. More are on the roadmap.
Is Freedom Wallet self-custodial?
Yes. You hold your recovery phrase and private keys on your device. Keep a secure, offline copy of your recovery phrase. Freedom Wallet cannot recover it for you and will never ask you to share it.
Do I need to download the blockchain?
You do not need to store the full blockchain on your device. The wallet connects to nodes to update your balances. Restoring a wallet, syncing its history and waiting for network confirmations can still take time.
Is the wallet free to use?
Freedom Wallet is free to download. Network fees apply to transactions, and independent swap or conversion providers may charge fees. Review the quote in the app before confirming.
